Fade to as dull as gray,
And the shining sun
Doesn’t make you squint,
When the birds singing
Are just another distant sound
And the cool breeze doesn’t give you a chill,
When the sandy beach
Doesn’t look soft
And the refreshing water
Doesn’t appeal to my senses,
When the fast motions
Don’t catch your focus
And you fall asleep to the world,
When you feel that asleep,
That empty, that alone,
You have no where else to run
But to God.
