And I don’t know what to think,
Or even if I can.
The tears that welled up in my eyes
Were gone as soon as you walked in.
My heart sank to think,
You had no clue,
No idea,
No way to fathom
What I thought tonight.

You came back

Strained or Broken Relationships
I believe all people have a deep rooted desire, a desperate need to be loved. We may spend vasts amounts of time and energy seeking out a "perfect" person or relationship or find ourselves "settling" into something and harboring hidden resentment or nursing fantasies of better days to come. Ultimately, at one time or another, all people will let us down in one way or another. Pains of the heart are some of the deepest injuries with the longest lasting scars. Our search for authentic, unconditional love will only find rest when we place our hearts in the hands of the God who created us, sent His Son to die so that if we place our faith in Him, we may approach the Lord personally to receive His Grace & complete forgiveness without fear of condemnation. All-knowing & all-powerful, God certainly doesn't need anything from us. He does desire a relationship with us, though, and His Word promises that even when we do not understand His Will, He always has
absolutely pure intentions and a plan for his followers to prosper. ArchivesSubcategories:
