Rich Version:
16 oz. tomato sauce
2 c vegetable broth (I used 2 c water and stirred in the recommended amount of GF vegetable base granules, you could use water, but you'd likely need to add salt)
4 T. Trader Joe's Coconut Cream Extra Thick & Rich (you only want the heavy, solid cream, if your brand has a solid layer & a liquid, don't mix it up, just use the solid)
2 T. sugar
Mix, heat on stovetop stirring frequently & enjoy.
Coconut-Free Version with Basil option
(although you won't taste the coconut in the above version)

1/2 tsp salt
2 T. sugar
4 T. (plain/original) almond milk
1/2 tsp. dried basil, optional
